Thinking about the right size Chandelier for my dining room

Posted by xpress in Uncategorized

Chandeliers are the best option to choose for house decoration. However, too large of a fixture will overpower the space. On the other end, too small will look akward.

For ceilings that are 9 feet or taller, you can consider a two-tier style chandelier to fill the space from the fixture’s top to the ceiling.

If you put a chandelier in the middle of the living room, it definitely defines the space.

How do I determine the proper size chandelier for a foyer?

If your foyer is 12 by 18 feet, with a ceiling height of 16 foot or higher, the correct sizing for your chandelier would be 1/3 of the width of this space. For example, if your foyer width is 12 feet, your mini pendant width will be 4 feet.
