During the summer of 2010 We will be dealing with wasps nests throughout Urmston, Flixton, Trafford, Stretford , Sale, Altrincham and Stockport, Cheadle for a set rate of just 32.00.
We operate seven days per week including Saturdays, Sundays and evenings and do not charge extra for evening and weekend call outs.
Wasps nests can normally be dealt with from the exterior of the premises by blowing a small amount of wasp powder into the entrance using a special machine.
It is important to get a wasps’ nest treated before mid-september when the new queens which will construct next year’s nests start to be produced. Once this starts simply destoying the nest will not kill these new queens as they are no longer using the nest. A single wasps nest can release as many as 2000 queens.
In the summer months we give priority to wasps’ nest calls as we know that many people can have a severe reaction to wasps stings and it is important to destroy the nest as soon as it is discovered. We do our best to provide a rapid same day service but this is naturally constrained by how much work we have on.
It is not necessary to remove the wasp nest itself as it cannot be used again and, being made purely of paper it will eventually crumble away of its own accord.
